Not much going on!

It's been a little while since I last posted...although nothing particularly blog worthy is going on in our world.
Nick and I had a nice trip to Illinois. It was good to see all of the family on the Rich side. Although I'm sure my sister Emily saw more of me that she had hoped! (Long story- but I know she'll laugh when she reads this!) And although we all shed tears as we said our final good-bye to Grandpa, we also shared laughter and happy memories of times we spent with him and grandma, which is what he would have wanted us to do anyway.
Our trip north was a little shorter than we had originally anticipated. We had planned to head to my mom's for the weekend, but she and my stepdad both had the stomach flu. While I love my parents, I was not interested in sharing in their germs, so we headed home. Pepper was glad to see us- but Ginger was sorry to see her go. Ginger watched us drive away and didn't want to go back in the house. It was so sad!
Since we got home early, we were able to get caught up on the usual weekend chores. And now we're back to work.
