There was a little shaking going on at our house this morning- as I'm sure some of you may have had as well. Nick has a cold, so he didn't wake up due to the Nyquil stupor he was in...but I felt it. At first I thought someone was doing laundry and the washer was out of balance in the spin cycle, but since it was 5:30am, I didn't figure that was the case. But I was too tired to worry about it too much so I went back to sleep. Pepper was crying- and based on the fact that all of Nick's shoes were shoved under the bed- she was trying to find a safe place to hide.
Our local news station was sure excited about the morning earthquake. Last I heard, they were estimating what we felt here was about 4.0 on the richter scale.
Did anyone else feel the quake??

Aren't animals supposed to be sensitive to these types of things? Abbey didn't warn us at all, then again, if we were ever robbed, she'd be like "pet me, pet me, and by the way, here's where they keep their valuables" - crazy dog! A little update, we've had an aftershock or two this morning and I felt them, so now I have actually experienced a little part of it.
