Domestic Diva

Yesterday, I took the afternoon off and went home to pick the remaining rows of green beans before it got too hot. 5 gallons, a lot of bending over and sweating later I returned to the house where I turned on Little House on the Prairie and snapped green beans. When Little House was over- I switched over to Oprah- and continued snapping.

Once I had successfully snapped about 3 gallons worth of green beans (the rest were going to Nick's mom to be distributed to unsuspecting family on the Williams side)- I fired up my pressure cooker and away I went. I canned 9 more pints - for a grand total of 18 pints so far. And froze several more quart and pint bags.
