Ahhhh.... it's the weekend! Saturday is my favorite day of the whole week! I usually sleep in until a ridiculously late hour- and Nick makes breakfast! Today, our goal is to finish reading our books, watch a movie, and overall just relax after a hectic work week! Pepper also likes this plan and has taken her usual spot on the foot stool. Her favorite spot is Nick's lap (see photo).
We did have a little excitment last night. We had a message on the voice mail when we got home. Nick told me it was for me- it was the police- and they wanted to talk to me. I thought he was pulling my leg- but he wasn't! It was the police! They wanted me to ID the person I saw a couple months back breaking into a lady's car in the church parking lot while I was out walking Pepper. Or at least pick out the car. I didn't get a good look at the guy- it was dark and I was too far away. And when I told him my description of the car over the phone, it wasn't the same car. So I was no help in the case...
And just in case you're wondering- I no longer walk the dog after dark by myself.
