National Farm Machinery Show

Nick and I spent the day at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY. Every year, Purdue Extension has a booth at the show where we share our knowledge of all things agriculture.

Purdue sends only their best and brightest to work at the Farm Machinery Show.

Not only is the Farm Machinery Show a wonderful opportunity for promoting Extension and all we have to offer....it's also a chance to people watch....and we always run into old friends. Today we caught up with Gabe, Kelly, Andrew and Jana.

Once we were done "working", we spent some time walking around the show...and didn't nearly have time to see even a quarter of what was at the show (although my feet disagreed).

Next year we'll have to plan our shift working differently so we'll have more time to see the sights. Here are a few more pictures... I tried to take a picture of the 48 row John Deere corn planter....but couldn't get it all in the picture. It was HUGE!

Farmers are a very patriotic group...all the way down to their machinery.

A new tractor made to look like an old tractor.

It was great seeing you too! And you are right...there is SO MUCH to see! We are proud to say, we think we saw almost all of it..
