Pumpkin Carving with Daddy

Sunday evening, Nick and Rachel continued their tradition of the annual pumpkin carving. This time, Rachel was a little more involved than last year. She thinks jack-o-lanterns are hilarious!

Step 1: Pick pumpkins with Daddy in the garden and select the best one for carving.

Step 2: First observe the scooping of the pumpkin innards.

Step 3: Have a go at the scooping.

Step 4: Haul off bucket of pumpkin innards as if it's a purse.

Step 5: Get sidetracked and say "hi" to Boots Kitty.

Step 6: Attempt to thwart Mommy's plans for a super cute picture with the newly carved pumpkin.

A good time was had by all! (Except maybe Boots who attempted to hide under the fern on the porch in hopes that Rachel wouldn't notice her there).
