Half birthdays are a big deal on my side of the family. With a birthday so close to Christmas, birthday parties when I was younger weren't really possible during the already cram packed holiday season. So...I had a half-birthday party in June instead complete with cake, birthday hats, the whole deal. It only seems fair that we celebrate Rachel's half birthday too!

in such a short time. I can only imagine what the next six months will have in store!
