I know this post is about a week late...but better late than never!
Rachel turned ONE last Friday. It's still hard for me to believe that I am now the mama to a toddler! I think I am safe to say that we had a wonderful birthday party for Rachel. The weather didn't cooperate completely and rain showers drove all but those who dutifully watched over the grill.
I was once again amazed at how blessed Rachel is by the mountain of gifts she received. She should be the best dressed girl in town with no reason to complain about lack of things to play with.

Rachel enjoyed helping with the party decorations. I think she would have been totally fine if all she got for her birthday were balloons.
Rachel enjoyed her cupcakes and she ate them without making a mess. Unlike me, she prefers the cake to the cream cheese icing.
But what she really loved were the Cheetos that her Nana O. shared with her. That was only one of several nutritious food items that my mom shared with her over the weekend.
We had a fun weekend and I look forward to many more birthday celebrations in the years ahead!!
