Havin' Some Family Fun at Holiday World

Today was the last day of the Holiday World season. Thanks to some tickets from Nick's co-worker, Patty, we were able to go and enjoy some family fun! The weather was beautiful, the crowd was light, and while we witnessed other families having meltdown moments, we (thankfully) did not! It was a great day!
Our first stop was the kiddie carousel. Rachel liked this ride.
After the carousel ride, we stopped a let Rachel go bobbing for ducks. She took this literally, and took a nose dive into the tank. Thankfully, she just got a little wet and ended up with two stuffed ducks for her efforts. Next stop: Holidog play area!!
Photo op with Daddy and Holidog.

Kids and water. F-U-N!!
Rachel enjoyed playing on the playground equipment and then would take off screaming for the water.

All that playing can make a girl hungry. Holiday World food is YUMMO!
The little carousel was fun. The big carousel, not so much...but we did get this nice picture with Mommy before the ride started.
ZZZZZZ!!!
Even though Rachel was napping when it was time for Santa's story time, we headed over anyway.
Rachel woke up from her nap in time to listen to "The Night Before Christmas" with Santa. Unfortunately, what she was really interested in was the "vroom vroom" ride across from Santa.
In case anyone is wondering...Rachel has no interest in being friends with Santa. There were REAL TEARS shed... you'd think he was going to give her a round of vaccinations or something.

Thanks, Patty! We had a fabulous time!! So much fun, in fact, that we are proud season pass holders for 2012!!
