Our Little Camper to be...

Last week, after working my evening shift at the library, Rachel and I settled into our reading chair for a couple of bedtime stories. As I was opening the first page, the lights all went out in the house. Rachel said "uh-oh." Nick went and found the battery operated camping latern we have so Rachel and I could finish our stories. I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that story time went out the window when there was something as cool as a camping latern to play with. She thought she was pretty cool marching from room to room with the "li-li" (Rachelese for light). With her love of the outdoors and camping gear, a camping trip might not be so far off in our future!

Wait until she finds out our tent has a pet den!
