Is there anything more awesome than watching a child discover something new? At least once a day Rachel cracks me up with her antics. Today was no different.
Last week, as we were preparing for the almost trip to SC, Rachel discovered the doorstop in our bedroom. Nick was packing and I was using the camode. I could hear this noise...BOINGGGG, BOINGGG, BOINGGG-OINGG-OINGG. What in the world? When I came out, there was Rachel sitting by the doorstop. She sat there for quite awhile... and the great thing was, as long as we could hear the BOINGG, we knew where she was and what she was doing.
Tonight she was "helping" Daddy sort through magazines, mail, and other fun things in the bedroom while I cooked dinner. I heard the telltale BOINGG and knew she'd made her way over to the doorstop. The video camera was handy, so here you go- a little bit of Rachel for your day. Sorry for the poor light quality. The doorstop is in a dark corner...which is good...that way you can't see the dog hair dust bunnies that are in desperate need of being vacuumed.
