Look Out Tiger Woods!!!

Tuesday was a work day for IBEP. We weighed the bulls and took blood samples on the out of state bulls. After lunch, the IBEP board of directors had their annual meeting- and after the meeting the real fun began because we headed to the golf course for 18 holes of golf.
Now- before I continue, I must tell you that I am not a good golfer. I've only golfed 3 times in my life (including Tuesday). The first time, I went with my Grandpa Dave who, thankfully, is a very patient teacher. He showed me how to properly rake the sand after I got stuck in a sandtrap- which I got very good at doing since I about hit every single one. And he didn't even yell at me when I hit his neighbors house. Despite the fact that it went the wrong direction, it was a very solid drive.
But for this outing, we were put into teams and we played the best ball. This is good- or I'd still be on the course. This time, instead of hitting the ball into all the sandtraps, I put several in the water. Good thing they gave us 6 free golf balls at the beginning. I still had 2 left at the end of the day! And one poor squirrel is not happy with me. He shouldn't have been in that tree! But I wasn't alone- none of us were really that great at golf. And it was rather amusing to see the guys that are usually chasing bulls chasing golf balls instead! My team came in one over par- and we ended up in second place.
Happy golfing!
